Ian71
cvh engines do generally run hot when on tickover , is the fan cutting in ok and bringing the temp gauge down ?

Hi yes im sure it is.... it also has a manual switch to turn it on and seems to bring it down.... a bit worried don't want to cook the engine.. also noticed I can here a ticking as if the indicator is on but not coming from around the dashboard area ... think this maybe a relay but unsure what and where
Ian71
Yea wise to have a manual switch, i have three cars running cvh engines and have a manual switch to override just in case. I fitted twin fans on my rs turbo wired one to switch and one to thermostat, if i get in traffic jams on hot day i switch manual switch on before the temp gauge gets to high.
