Mk3 Single Choke Weber

Ok, I know this isn't a standard fit for my mk3 1.6, but it has a single chamber weber on it but runs rich. I can't seem to find a mixture screw, and where I think there should be one (right side of carb standing at front of car) there is a place where I think it should be but nothing.

Anyone know what this is off? I can supply pics if needed.

(I do have a twin choke weber with K&N filter on an inlet manifold sitting but I'm wary about fitting as I got it 2nd hand and in an attempt to make it look returned, it's been sprayed silver so recon this will need a clean and rebuild also, so unless someone has a jet kit...)

Sorry for bombarding post with pic's still getting to grips with the site....

The car runs OK, but rich, on looking closer at pics, I think the "tube" on the side was the wrong one, and can see a smaller square "tube" at the bottom that may have a small screw in it. I'll have a muck about with this, but would like to get the twin choke carb fitted at some point. I've also a chrome rocker cover to go on as I start to tidy up engine bay.

I'd be interested in finding out more though regards the NOS card in your local stealer....

Hi Ian, thanks for your time with this.

It says made in -then a blank, it has the numbers 34 IBF on it and the plate attached also has this along with 016 6 on it.

The top face has carburatore weber on it but that's all that's on it.

On a plus I think I found the mixture screw, it was out about 7 or 8 turns, so went back to basics and screwed it in and took it back out 2.5 turns. Upped the idle to get it to sit smooth and seems to rev smooth also. With mine being a GL there is no Rev counter so set by ear for now but will get one of those clip on timing/ Rev counter guns to get it right
