Guest Tony Walter
Hi guys, 1995 XR3i 1.8l EFI, Been playing with the foolish idea of trying to do some simple jobs on my cab, ( trying to find The ignition, driver door ect) maybe change fuel filter ect but no idea where the fuel filter is ! Is there a DIY book for simple jobs out there ? I'm of course not trying to be the new Ed China but getting the drivers door open would certainly be a plus. Joking aside very grateful for any tips. Best Wishes Tony in Stockholm.
RScab
Haynes Manual will be your best option I think Tony
Vincygav
As above, get yourself a Haynes. The fuel filter is bolted on top of the front subframe, held by a 10mm nut IIRC. Just near to the power steering rack. Make sure you remove the fuse to de-pressurise it.
Skittles80
My Haynes manual was a pound on ebay and I picked it up so no postage when my fuel filter was done the pipe corroded to the filter broke the clips so had to get a new pipe as well
