Guest Speighty Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 Hi guys, just recently bought a mk5b cabriolet 1995, the wires behind the stereo had been cut, I have already managed to wire my stereo up so that's fine, the problem is I have about 5 wires that have been cut and I don't know what they are for. Black/red stripe Black/yellow stripe Black/green stripe Thin orange wire Black wire I have taken my drivers door card off and notice that I can have electric mirrors as it currently only has manual, one of the wires going into the electric mirror connector block is black/yellow stripe. Could the wires have something to do with the electric mirror connection to the passenger side, could that be the reason manual mirrors are installed. I do want to install electric mirrors again but don't want to waste my money if the wiring has been cut. Any help would be great. Thanks.
