Hi folk, just a quick question. From what I can gather, if I decide to use my electic roof manually there's a small brass T piece that I turn in the boot. My question is, if I do this, will using the roof manually cause any harm and secondly if I decided to use the roof with electrics again how do I go about doing so? Is it just a case of turning the brass T pieces the opposite direction?

Spot on mate. Just loosen the the T piece and use as manual, won't do any harm and like you say just tighten it up to use it as electric again

It is working with electrics Paul. It's just that I live on the Western Isles ( Scotland ) and we get lots of rain. I was worried that one day I'd have the roof down and then the electrics might stop working. I was just making sure I could get the roof up if it happened.
