Guest Paddy
The size you've got are pretty close to the original, total diameter wise. This website http://www.tyresizecalculator.com/ will give you your options. Paddy

Guest andyw
the 80 and 84 are the load ratings of the tyres, both are fine for the car.the v is the speed rating of the tyre which again is fine.hope this helps
iansoutham
As above, the load rating is fine for the car, along with the tyre size. However, the same load rating should be on all tyres per axle. By that I mean, the fronts can be one rating and the rears another, but you cannot have different ratings on the same end of the car. So, all you actually need to do is change one of the rear tyres to match the other and you should be fine. Also, from my experience with these tyre sizes, an "extra load" tyre will be beneficial to you in that it will reinforce the sidewall, making the steering slightly more responsive and should also help to absorb some of the impact from bumps in the road from damaging your alloys to a degree. Guest El87cabi
The load and speed rating difference could make the car feel a little different, the tyre size is correct for an escort running aftermarket 16" wheels, i run 195/45/16's on my cabi with no problems. What i would suggest is getting rid of all Marshall tires on the car as they are AWFUL!! My friend and i call them 'Ditch finders' because if you have them on your car that's where u end up. I got 1 marshall tyre when i bought my 16's (2nd hand) and it was dire. Tidy car btw, love the colour
