Stereo Issue Plz Help Me

well i though the good weathers here need the roof down and some good tunes blowing so got the hood down turned the stereo on and found only 1 speaker works so thought FAN-Bloody-Tastic need to fix that so ok i got second hand rear speakers and covers and thought il have a look at removeing the stereo to rewire it properly and low and behold another flaming bodged attempt so i naw have a decent CD player with the brown and black block to put in and when i took the old one out i find out the blocks have been removed and joined together with twisted wires and yellow insulating tape ( real genius this guy) so now i need to find the other blocks can anyone help me out with the blockthere the female ends i need as il also need a wiring diagram if anyone has it thanks

mate try halfords for a female block ...... the red wire is live ...... yellow wire is norm the elec airel .... black is norm earth .. and then its blue for the mem for the radio stations

 

all the other wires are to do with the speakers hope it sort of helps

the black plug is for the main power, connect the red and yelloe together and attatch to red of car, (yellow is memory perm live)

black to brown on the car, earth, then it should power up. no need for blue (amp)

the other block is just speakers, two per speaker, a solid colour and that colour with a stripe are the pairs, the box should tell you what speakers there for, front or rear.

do the right thing bud.

Buy any iso connector (auto leads), cut the car end off and solder the connections up properly.

 

Ive got a mk6, which is rubbish aswell and will be replaced with proper joints.

 

 

Do you have a test meter or one of them screw drivers that light up when voltage passes through.

 

If not i'll check mine and post up.

 

 

 

At least you've got wires and speakers, my mk2 fiesta van has no wires and no speakers just a mint single din hole that nothing every been fitted in :sad: .

thanks Kelvin appreciate it , i got a meter so gonna test constant lives and powred lives will let you know if i blew my aself up lol
