Guest Matthew Davenport
cars in for a respray at the moment (still!.) When it comes back i'm thinking that the white tonneau cover is going to stick out a mile next to a brand spanking new paintjob. the cover is in good nick - its just dirty and stained. i've tried using leather cleaner but its not shifting the ingrained marks. i need something more professional. I'm thinking, instead of trying to clean it again, of recoloring it using the kit from furniture clinic. its only £35. just wondered if anyone else had tried something similar. i may even go as far as changing the vinyl roof from black to white, if the tonneau cover looks good. I've seen some pictures on furniture clinics website and they have examples of total colour changes that look fantastic.

Guest Matthew Davenport
I'm going to give the tonneau a go. Will post some pics on here when I do it. Have to admit I'm not too sure about recolouring the vinyl roof. At least if i f*ck up the tonneau i can bin it. The roof will need replacing if it goes wrong. Guest Matthew Davenport
it is a spray on. http://furnitureclin...lourant_Kit.php if you watch the video the results look great. i see what you mean - yours is a bit glossy! you can choose what finish you want. I'm not sure what the original finish is - satin, or semi matt? heres a pic of mine at the moment not even sure what colour to go for. i think their white will be too bright compared to the cars diamond white. maybe ivory would be better? Guest Matthew Davenport
wow that looks very good. I've finally got around to doing mine. heres some pics. i think i need to take some daylight pics though - the magnolia walls in the garage and flourescent light are giving a bit of a yellow tinge. should be getting the car back from its respray soon so will take a picture with the tonneau 'in situ'
Guest kazcastle
looks good, i am a little disappointed the spray doesnt seem to dry properly its scuffing really easy, i had my boot open for about 10 minutes the other day while i was cleaning the car and the hinge covers have marked it
