Guest Rustler
We're looking at replacing the original 14" alloys on our '92, MK5, 1.8cc, 130ps XR3i Cabby, with 15" TSW "Freeze, Black Ice, or INOVIT Blade" alloys fitted with YOKOHAMA PRADA 2 ...195/50 X 15 tyres.. Has anyone any info (good or bad) on either of these 3 types of rim?... We are well aware of the "WET PROBS" with the YOKO PRADAs , but the cabby is a summer day car only and rarely sees the rain. ................... Guest Lee81
black ice have a a diamond cut face that is clear coated. There not sealed very well so water will ingress here quite rapidly and make them look awful. 9 months is all it took on my wifes car and then they just looked wrecked so would advise against that one. I wonder if the same applies to the .."INOVIT BLADE" alloys which are also similar.... Any takers on the TSW FREEZE or INOVIT BLADE rims ??? .......................................Rustler............................ "The Oldest Cabbier"..............
