Guest Rustler
........"1993 XR3i 130ps MK5 Cabbie" There's a push button to the right of the hand brake lever....... it's marked with a "Lightening Flash" and glows amber, when the ignition is on. Does any one know the function of this button?... I have a mk6 owners hand book ,but there isn't any reference to this button in this book ,so I assume it is only relevant to MK5 XR3i's. Can't find any reference to it in "HAYNES"book either, Thanks ....Rustler........ "The Oldest Cabbier".....

RScab
Not 100% sure m8 but think its the optional "Shut ya Wife/Girlfriend up" button think its connected directly to the HT side of the ignition coil when she starts goin on a bit to much just give it press if she starts shaking violently and stops talkin its workin fine. Guest Rustler
Hey. Guys Thanks!!! That all makes sense now.... I never gave the rear window issue a thought, was looking for a more complex technical reason for "IT". Really like RScabs definition of "THE BUTTON".......if I were 10yrs younger I'd install one on our bed...would certainly put a new aspect on our intimate side of life!!!!
