LeeMcCarthy
Depending what type it is, wack a socket on them or kwik fit remove them £25 per wheel. Try the socket first thats how Ive removed mine in the past.
Guest tony.rose
Yes me too, I've used a socket to remove them, cheaper than getting a garage to do it!!!!!
gingergman
smash a socket on them. if there the sort with three holes for the key they prob have a sleve that spins on the nut, does make it quite awkward but you can still do it. ive done it a fair few times now, some come off with one wack and some have taken me bloody ages to mangle, but im yet to be defeted. Guest corrie
just a little note here for future problems, instead of paying to get the robbers at qwick fit to do this for you, or damage or waste good sockets you can actually pruchse locking wheel stud removal tools, there design has opposite threads and you screw them onto the locking wheel nut and remove with a wheel brace very cheap tool and very effective and saves time and damage to the alloy wheel. Guest diggy
i managed to purchase a locking nut removal socket on ebay fo less then a tenner and as was said before they are a reversr threaded socket that gets thinner as it tightens on. a very good investment should you lose locking nuts
