allblue
Hiya, Not sure where people get the idea 500 were made. Make no financial sense for a company to do this. Especially for an outgoing model, which was beginning to look pretty dated in 1990. 600 were brought to the UK in Apr 1990, to celebrate the 100,000th cabriolet rolling off the production line. However the car was already on sale in Europe (Germany in particular since late 1989) as a luxury cabriolet, probably to compete with the Golf. From production stats on this site, approx 4,000 Pacifica blue cabriolets were constructed. No numbering as far as I'm aware. Hope this helps. You mention that E187cabbi coz the wife found a site on the net that when you put your vin plate number in it tells you everything about the factory build lol. Apparently mine was 352 off the production line. interesting.
