Guest tott111 Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 hi just picked up a 1996 mk6 with a 1.6i driving it home i noticed some white smoke from the exhaust well it looks more like steam than oil smoke the inside of the exhaust end is dry with no black in it.the engine pulls well temp is normal.the car has been standing for a few months so any ideas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest tott111 Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 no gooey white no water in oil or oil in the header tank + it doesnt over heat so maybe a couple of hard drives mite do the trick Anything gooey and White showing when you take off the oil cap?
