Guest corrie Posted May 6, 2011 Share Posted May 6, 2011 went to the hospital today for an appointment about a hearing problem i have and had a test and results show im partially deaf and the reason for this is down to working in a garage with windy tools and air lines. so there answer to fix this is i have to have 2 hearing aids, but have to wait a further 12 weeks so that now makes me feel very sad that i have to go round with hearing aids. Guest corrie Posted May 7, 2011 Share Posted May 7, 2011 thanks guys it isnt good especially knowing people will then know i have a hearing problem when they see hearing aids but if it means i will still be able to hear my little baby girls voice change and develop as she gets older then it has to be done but will still be paranoide about them. I find it very difficult to hear conversation especially with background noise. Aint bit the bullet to go the doctor but i imagine in few years i'll be in the same position as you.
