Guest jb77 Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 best show you what i gotta deal with then! this is how it lookes 4 years ago,done a ton of work,new shocks,brakes,arms,bearings,head gasket,valve seals,exhaust,cat,etc then before this happened it started burning oil on number 4 piston so i pulled the engine and box from this minter mk6 ghia which i had for a song and made a bit on the parts then i bought this mk6 which is where im at a dilemma after finding the crusty windscreen frame on the red one the back end is rotten underneath,and needs some work elsewhere,the roof is mohair in good nick,i planned on using it for parts then sell on the rest,the engines nice but only a 1.6 so no good to me. this is the red one now,excuse the stripe as me and the missus had a row so i done it to wind her up!
