Paul Grainger
I take it your battery light on the dash is working? It should come on with the Ignition and go out when the engine starts. If this is ok you can check the charging rate and current draw using a multimeter. To measure the charge rate set it to volts dc and put it accross the battery with the engine running, it shoule read between 13.8 and 14.2 volts. To measure the draw set it to Ohms. Disconect the earth of the battery and put it in between. If the current flow is over about 0.05ohms then it is excessive. If this is the case you can then pull fuses one at a time to find out which circuit is at fault. Its worth checking the connection at the starter post to as this carried the charge current to the battery. If you are not sure the i would get a good auto electrician to look at it. Good luck
