Guest gavintwopies Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 (edited) well as the pink tarts car nears completion i thought it only fitting that i start another topic for the cast aside mk3/4 cabby that never came to any thing this time as its not going to be a daily runner and probably going to just end up getting built and sold on i thought it only fitting to fit a daft engine as induction set up.... So as it goes i start this topic with a full 1.8 zetec of unknown origions with a set of r6 bike carbs and a home made inet by my own fair hands, i also have a edis4 and will make up a loom to suit and may end up getting a megajolt but depends on the cash flow when i get that far. Guest gavintwopies Posted October 29, 2010 Share Posted October 29, 2010 just bought a nice set of ngk's for the engine as one of the last bike carb conversions i did had me bam-boozled as the engine came from a running car we bought transfered the engine over 2 days then fitted the carbs tried all sorts for days to get it to tick over on 4 cylinders and nothing worked in the end it was a duff plug but as the car was running 48hrs earlier on injection i never gave it a thought!!! worth £8.50 for 4 deliverd all day.
