Guest spenny
bugger it im just gonna lift the front of the cabby release the strain between the top of the struts and just fit the thing.
Guest hendo_lawdy
i reckon when fitting a strut brace, if its a top one, best to lift it just enough as bring the weight off mate just so any twist in the front of the car etc goes back to where it sits "correctly" then drill through where the holes are with a smaller drill size than the bolts that are going through the brace, so it has something to bight on to mate and as tight a fit bolts as possible on the brace btw just so its tight in them aswell, common sense but some people dont think about it then bye bye idea of tightening it up

gingergman
when i tidy up my engine bay this winter im gonna get one when you fitting it?
Guest spenny
think i will fit it this weekend. if you get one maybe go for one that you can adjust. been told that over the years your front struts will have moved inwards alot so wot you realy want to do is try and push them back out .so an adjustable one will help do this. were as mine will just hold it were it is now.
