Guest John Posted May 14, 2010 Share Posted May 14, 2010 Ok as i said last year to north east members about a run round Heartbeat country (whitby) I have spoken with the owner of a hotel/campsite i do work for to put a package together, saturday i will be organising a road run round through north yorkshire moores ,goathland ,whitby etc. saturday afternoon /evening camping at the site fully liscence bar & restuarnt with enogh interest put on a singer/band possibilty of a bbq per head. sunday recover from loads of drinking etc head off for more runs though to scarbrough/york then head off to home. more numbers the cheap it will be im offering this to some other car clubs aswell but not focus's etc old stuff but as im part of this club the newer cabbies can come to lol. As for dates not sure as of yet will ensure doesnt mix with any think big up this way. so i need to know of any interested parties. at moment i know i've got 6 cars from my mates up ere all old fords if i get 20 its £10 for the sat night camping with full shower facilities as well heres a link to the camp site/ hotel http://www.yorkhousehotelandcaravanpark.co.uk/ if sucsess full im looking aat doing this yearly & turn it into a old ford show cheers stumpy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Or if there is enough interest can do a run on the saturday camp over then another run further south to scarbrough on the sunday. can all parties please contact me as i need to secure the camping area if needed as it is prime time at the campsite. or if not just to arrange food for the sun. Guest John Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 Ok here goes Camping fri 20th august Saturday 21st august road run round "heartbeat area" Grosmont,Goathland etc. Saturday evening social gathering at campsite/hotel for food arranged grub fo aprox £6.00 per head. Sunday recover then head off into scarbrough then york area & go home. costs = £25 per tent for 2 nites or £15 for 1 nite either fri or sat. full fasilities are included showers toilets etc. Also it is whitby regatta week so there will be alot to do during the weekend.
