Guest welshie
hi wonder if anyone has run into the problem i'm having with a efi 3i my brother just bought as it has me stumped. the car won't start unless you flick the ignition lights on and off numerous times i've checked all the usual problems pump relay , injector relay and changed them with ones from my car but this has had no effect. ive checked that fuel is coming up from pump which it is and also checked for spark which is also there the fuel just isn,t getting past the injectors as when you crank and it does'nt start the plugs are dry but when you flick the lights she starts and runs fine . i'm going to switch the ecu tomorrow but any suggestions you have would be helpful.thanks for your time mike
gingergman
fuel pressure? if you keep turning the key on and off the pump should keep priming, so would assume possible faulty fuel pump?
Guest welshie
i thought this but even when she wont fire up the fuel is up an under pressure and when driving its fine surly if it was a lazy pump wouldn't it suffer from fuel starvation?
