Guest trueiron
Hi All Couple of problems I could do with some help on 1. Temp. Car runs fine and when one the move the temp guage stays in the middle. As soon as I hit traffic it starts going up to the red, but the fan cuts in just as it is about to hit the red. Have changed the temp sensor checked for gasket problems, checked the radiator and cooling system are all good. Any ideas 2. Fan Belt - just replaced the fan belt with a new one, but when we put it on - the adjustment is on its max. The fan belt is still amking a noise at times, other times is fine Any advice on the little problems would be great as we have just spent a fortune rebuilding the top end of the engine, replacing valves etc Shane

Guest trueiron
Cheers Guys We changed the temp sender to an 82 before but still does the same - as long as there are no problems though I guess I will have to live with it Will try the fanbelt again and see what happens - According to the computer it is the correct one though

Guest Clive
Hi, Don`t get your fan switch mixed up with your temp sender. Fan switch on top of thermostat housing, temp sender Below.
