hi all car failed mot bloody wishbones replaced both.now it wonders like hell all over road car is xr3i mk5a 17s lowered any ideas

cheers mate will try but to be honest if feels worse than what it was before ireplaced them are 17s too big 205/45/17

Deffo get your tracking done mate, i told you about having that done on the shoutbox last night, when you change your wishbones you need to get tracking done or you are in danger of ripping your tyres to bits, your car will deffo wander all over the road until you have it done, you will prob notice while driving down the road in a straight line that your steering wheel is off to one side.

i know what you saying lambrettaman mine was the same and i only got 14s on my escort as tony said get it checked other wise you will wear tyres out really quick....you changed wishbones and you've upset tracking.......beware you will go through wishbone quite quick been through afew my self ....

yes Lee they do seem common mainly the rear bush wears and car seem to float(dive)when on and off the power...just a ford thing....fpmsl :laugh:
