Guest SG1
Does the washer make any sound when you press button? Could be the jets are blocked so you may need to pull the pipe out from underneath and then take jets out and give 'em a good old soak but be careful not to lose the eyes out of 'em lol Speedo cable is connected to back of dials so they need to be taken out. Guest Uxb1979
cool - give the jets a go tomorrow if you reckon that could be a solution but its not making a noise??
gingergman
could be the pump for it mate, its on the side of the washer bottle, easy to change if u can pinch one from a scrappy

gingergman
good to hear mate still the speedo to do? mk5 you got?
Guest Uxb1979
yeah i've got it out now - looks pretty straight forward - The speedo is knackered and the Rev counter too so got a speedo cable and cluster coming - hopefully that might solve the prob. Got it off ebay on Sunday and it was a right bargain but needs quite a fair bit doing to it. Its a MK5 si. Just been messing with the electrics as the rear fog wont work as the loom is broke behind the switch - thought id get a new switch and wire it myself but couldn't get a ford one at the time so wired it myself with speaker wire and ran it to the back light off of a permanent live but that threw out the lights at the back - After a bit of thought still wont work so i've disconnected it and re-connected the fog to the normal loom (still broke) and connected the passenger side light to the drivers side light so the drivers side now works but the brake light on the drivers sides now not working. - Any ideas???
