Guest Eastw77
Hi, I have a 1984 cab, it is an XR3i with Bosch K-Jetronic MFi. The problem I am having is when the engine is left to idle it is hunting between about 500rpm and 1500rpm. It also often cuts out when dropping on the low side. Any ideas as to what the problem could be would be greatly appreciated. many Thanks from New Zealand, Ian

Guest Eastw77
Thanks guys, I havn't looked at it yet. I just thought I would get some pointers to start me in the right direction. It has just started happening, it was fine a couple of weeks ago. A bit of a stupid question but how do you go about locating air leaks? cheers, Ian
Guest DEG
hi pal. at college we test air leaks with carb cleaner spraying it on pipes and pipe joints if it changes the idle then thats where your leak is.
