Guest dee1orean
I like that spoiler mate, nice and subtle should look the part if you can get it to fit, sure you'll manage it. I'm looking at a Rover 220 coupe Tomcat spoiler meself, might have to shorten it though, we'll see. I know what you mean about the "square" shape of the MK4, I've never seen the point of fitting the Cosworth style bumpers to the MK4 as in my eye the Rounded shape of the bumpers goes against the Squareness of the MK4. It doesn't look too bad if it's been fitted properly but I've seen far too many round here fitted badly.
Guest murcus
the only other things i would like are clear indicators, side repeaters and clear rear lights my mate at this moment had a mk5 esort van, he has grafted s1 arches and skirts on it, with cossie front bumper, morrettes which he has extended, and rs2000 bonnet, he has spent hours doing the work

Guest murcus
started to sand the rs turbo bonnet, but the front was pitted so i binned it, dont want a filled one so will replace with a new one battery tray, solid, no rust fusebox, poped all the plugs out the bottom instead of cutting

Guest murcus
i know its taken a while with me and other projects but getting stujck in to this, have pulled out all rubber stoppers, grommits and masked everything to stop overspray, as it gets everywhere. took a while to mask everything off . so now in primer after firstly degreasing all the oil from the bay, then using a steam cleaner to remove degreaser and any residue, then wet flatted with p600 then brushed on loads of panel wipe, then wiped it off, to stop any reactions. then mixed up sone nice 2k primer and blew over 1 coat, then as you can see i have started spraying stonechip all over the bay, as this will stop water build up at battery tray, then re prime with 3 coats of primer, flatten with p800 once dry, then spray 3 coats of azure blue, followed with 3 coats of laquer
Guest murcus
today im pi##ed off as i went and got 1ltr of basecoat mixed for the car, the plate says ta4, i went to halfords the only thing that was coming up was t4 , ford azure blue, so i gave it after the primer/stonechip/primer, 3 coats of the azure blue and 3 coats of laquer, and it looks too dark, so i have been checking loads of sites for paint codes and colours and now i have found out that mine is T 4 A4 AZURE-ELECTRIC BLUE XSC1694 1984 -1988 i will post up pics, but this has pi**ed me off bigtime!
