Guest bolf
I remember ages ago (5 years) i read a guide on here on how to make it so you can operate the power hood whilst the engine is running rather than just when in pos 1 , can anyone help me and find it? I did a search but only found a mk6 one! Thanks guys and gals.
RobMk4TwinCarb
If I remember correctly, which might not be the case as it was about 6 years ago when I wired one into a cab, but I think you just need to de-solder the wire from the power hood loom which is attached on the black box opposite to the ignition keyhole(you know the round one that turns with the key). Yea like I said take off the wire which power's the hood and put it on the constant 12v. Now I can't guaruntee that will work it's just a barely educated guess from what I remember 6 years ago but hope it helps.

Thanks guys and gals. not sure what colour it is bolf but there is a relay under the drivers side near the fuel pump relay ( yellow i think m8 ) take it out and it just bypasses the ignition switch .was such a long time ago now lol it is so much easier to do when at lights or in traffic cheers ollie
