Guest bowlesy Posted April 15, 2009 Share Posted April 15, 2009 hi i have a problem with my 1986 xr3i cab can anyone help my cab will start first thing when cold but after running the car for 5 mins i can turn it off and it wont start again. i have changed the fuel pump,cold start valve,dissy cap,dissy cap brain,leads,points,coil,all the filters and the fuel relay under the dash board has anyone got any ideas what the problem is bowlesy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Basilbear Posted April 20, 2009 Share Posted April 20, 2009 Bowlesy, I happened to be rummaging through ebay and a cab on there described a very similar problem and said it needed the MAP sensors replacing.....whatever they are! Guest chris_g99 Posted April 21, 2009 Share Posted April 21, 2009 I had the same with my D reg cab years ago. Can you bump start the car when it fails to start?
