Guest marcus Posted January 28, 2008 Share Posted January 28, 2008 Hi Brutus, just a thought but are they not both PP plastics , (made from simalar materials) they should be able to be plastic welded together using a strip of the old bumper cleaned of paint- if you cannot get hold of the correct plastic filler rod,......a good hot air gun modified to a small out let will get you by if you have not got a plastic welding gun. Even if i used the plastic welding it'd still need Fg and filler to get the shape.......never had any probs with cracking before and i've lost count of the bumpers ive done using this method. We fitted the LED bulbs that I had on the X4cc and in the Smoked lights we just replaced, they look great, nice and bright too, they look like the modern LED lights you get on prestige cars from a distance !!! Heres a little vid of the Exhaust test we did, its quiter than expetcted but its still got a nice tone !!!
