chaz
Some of you will know that I have been looking for a replacement rear right hand side light on my mk3. Finally I managed to find one locally and replaced it today, after I put it all back and probably was like this before and did not notice it. The light bulb that is used as a brake light and side lamp lights real bright when the side lamp is on and goes dim when the foot brake is depressed so really its working the other way round. the left hand side works correctly. What can be causing this, is this an earth problem?

chaz
I did take the bulb out and cleaned it because it was very dusty, but I did not realise you can put it in the wrong way round, I mean its not marked in any way. Still I will try again. THANKS.
