Guest matt-the-dj
i had exactly the same fault, the dickhead i bought the car from didnt use big enough earth cable and joined two bits together by twisting them , this created a volt drop under load and also made interference and this was amplified thru my amp which resulted in the sub pulsing like a human heart, so check you have a BIG clean connection to earth. also make sure you have abig enough +12 cable and good interconnecting leads for the signal betwwwen head unit and sub amp. hope this helps. matt.
