Guest Eggsy
well m8y its depends if its actually gone through to primer if it has then you talking paint - if it hasn't then a 1500 wet & dry dpending on paint, be carefull not to go through or your talking paint!! (pmsl) then buff it with finishing polish & water, you'll find that 3m is the best gear & if its paint contaminant 3m do a putty that really is the dogs danglies!!!! Admin Ollie Posted October 6, 2007 Admin Share Posted October 6, 2007 hi matt get yourself some G3 and a machine polisher with a white mop head ( be carefull of edges and corners m8 ) or take it to your local valeting company and they will do it for you for around £60 outside only
Guest Eggsy
so for the deep keyed scratches , build up with paint , then wet and dry then paste? is it met? right - if you paint over a scratch usually in the case of a deep scratch, you would rubb it down & feather it out, if you where painting the door, it all depend on what u wabt to do? if its a solid colour it much easier to lose by building it up slowy until it pertrudes the normal paint, ensuring you leave more than enough time for it to dry (7 days fully) then rub it doen with a fine paper on a block until flush, then go over it with a good polishing compound & a mop. paste? are you refaring to compound?? putty is for paint contamination i.e heavy rd grime/fallout/overspray ect
