[I'm Afraid Of The Dark Help!!!!]

hello its me again well the car is sorta coming along u know 1 step forward 3 back well with loads n loads of patience n help from Alain P Aka TAZ i managed to get the roof working and sort out a few other lose ends now i went to put dash in which went in smoothly enough but then i remembered the interior light was well not working i cut it off the old loom thinking the new loom had it altogether it didnt now i looked at the wires it seems to join onto the heated windscreen loom which is attached to a white/grey relay which is then attached to the main loom now my problem is the heated windscreen loom is cut also n i have no urgent need to replace this intil i get a heated windscreen so how do i go about getting the interior light n the little clock working i mean the door have light switched on them to turn on light on n off so there got to be something im missing ???? how do u attach the interior light onto this loom help!!!

ok clock wires should be hard wired into loom

 

the two relays is the front part of the roof loom and would normally be placed under dash with rest of relays

 

black and yellow wire attaches to loom and yellow wire goes to roof switch

 

ok the yellow bit also belongs to the roof loom and plugs into main loom

 

will get some pics of roof loom and connections tomorrow if i got a loom here

 

if not it will be monday before i can get them

Thanks i am greatfull for the feed back and the pictures of the roof loom connectsion would be a big help when you are able to get them, i do have a few other questions but i will leave them intil i look at the pic and sort out the room loom then i can sort out in which i will most problt be bugging u for answers again lol cheers mate.

ok this looks like power roof loom

these are the clock wires and do attach to the main loom

 

this is the rear power roof realys and they usually both green relays

 

ok this is the heated front screen loom and if you have a standard non heated screen in car this can be removed

how are the interior light and clock attached which part of the loom or is it ment to be built up on the loom.

 

i have 2 green relays in the back of the car by the pump with a silver fuse there, and what is the yellow wire coming off.

 

and the roof loom is seperate from the main loom and its was never removed so not sure what i'm ment to do with it and this is abit further down that same wire i circled the bits i have no idea where or they attach to

 

be greatfull for abit more input maybe some examples illustrations i looked in haynes come up blank, thanks

here are a few pics can anyone tell me where they go and what they are and in some case how to fix them the pics will explain the rest.

 

this is by the steering coloum it connect to a yellow plug which is attached to the loom ie its something that attaches to loom but what???? is a mystery to me

 

these wires are leading up the driverside pillar i think they are to do with clock and interior light how do i connect these to loom do they attach on to the loom or???

 

what is this and where does it go? and what is the yellow wire coming off it for??

 

 

these 2 are the same thing i think its the heated windscreen relay and old loom was ripped out when i had the car also there is a standar windscreen in the car so this is why i think

 

 

anyhelp would be so greatfully recieve as you see i have a challenge ahead of me to sort out these electric problem well i got engine problem but thats for another post another day thanks guys/gals

well she working finally after 4 months of me wiring it up well no smoke when i started it so i guess i did something right but problem flowed the roof worked before the old loom was burnt out i tried it today it went to start then the noise of the motor cut out n no movement fuse ?? then the back light when u turn on ur sidelights n idicate to go right the brake light n indicator blink together in sequence n out of sequence but when side lights off the indicator works normaly and well i need to find a interior light loom or well how it connect onto loom i have a grey relay next to fuel relay which was cut by previous owner i though it was just heated window but i think its also interior light am i right ??o yeah the temp gauge not working need new one ???
