Has anyone got any experience of the solar battery mainainers?
I'm tempted to get one but wondered if they're any good.
-
Looks good, love the colour.
-
Yea ,mine fits ok on standard car.
Thanks for the heads up on the cover.
With the temperatures dropping I wanted to get it on as soon as I could.
-
Looks good I think a tight fit is better less likey to blow of I would cover them wheels up to stop people tempting to be nosey of what's under the cover just the wheels showing you can see it's something special but if covered they know nothing and it could be any thing under there
Good point. I'll do that.
It is better being a tight fit. If it had standard bumpers the cover would tuck under nicely.

I finally fitted the cover today after cleaning the car.
I looks like the next size up would've been better for me because of the extensions on the front and rear bumpers.
I layed a blanket over the hood before fitting the cover.

Being a newbie how do I go about ordering tickets?
For example, if it's me and one other in my car do I order 2 tickets?

A bloke I worked with a couple of years ago told me about this event.
I think I'll attend this one.

What size tyres have you got on those Cossie rims please mate?
I'll be putting a set on my 97 Cab soon.
To match up the original size wheels one of those tyre calculators is telling me I need to fit 215/40/16 tyres.
Escort Cosworth tyres are 225/45/16. I'd prefer this size as there's more tyres on the rim.

Yes it has!
It does say to continually check the tightness of the straps.
I'll see once I've fitted it. I've not bothered yet as I'm still like an excited kid so I've been using the car a lot.
Once I know it will be parked up for a while I'll put the cover on.

Only owned the car for two weeks and decided to give it some TLC today.
Just the basics, oil change plus oil/air/fuel filters and plugs.
Got home and the Tonneau cover I bought was waiting for me and it fits fine so a good day with the cab today!
After browsing the the forums I think I'll invest in a wind deflector at some point as well.
Bring on the sunshine!

I took Ian's advice and got one from Halfords for £49.99.
Here it is - http://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-accessories/car-covers-tarpaulins/halfords-advanced-all-seasons-car-cover-medium
I can't tell you how it fits because I haven't fitted it yet but its medium size so hopefully it will be ok.
