What's everyone's thoughts on this show this year. Seems a lot of people have lost interest in it for one reason or another. Prices, organisation, focus and fiesta' etc. I like it but I'm swaying towards classic Ford at the pod as being my favourite of the two.

I will be driving up on the day, may consider leaving the evening before and stay over in a premier inn or similar if anyone else thinking the same.

I agree, what a great show. Love that show ground. Great turn out of cabs. I think we had one of the best looking stands. Well done to ollie as always for his work on the stand. Look forward to returning in September.

I will skip the breakfast meet on this one. It's my most local show and will take me well off route to get to the ace before going to the show ground.

Ian, Did Ollie give you my mug at fitp to bring on Sunday?. Also, have you had any thoughts on a table/ stand for the stove and kettle. ? Other than that all sorted my end unless you can think of anything?

I'm aiming to arrive 6:30-7am to help you out Ian. Oh and get the kettle on.

Hi all. As you may know next week the club is split between 2 shows. Bromley and classic ford. I have managed to get us a kettle and gas stove for refreshments. Please bring your own mug and preferred means of tea, coffee etc and all can help themselves throughout the day. Just need to pray for good weather now !!

just done mine. You get a mirror hanger as the car pass with the what I'm guess is the area code (E1) And separate ticket for your own admission.

Hi all, just had an email from classic ford. The tickets and passes are being emailed out for self printing.

Looking forward to it. We're hitting the road just after lunch tommorow to hopefully arrive at the site for 4pm ish.

We can't check in till 4pm on the Friday so we are planning on heading down for then hopefully before the rush hour get away.

2 weeks away. Let's hope for some dry sunny weather.

Evening ben, with this show and ford fair you need to book direct with organisers website. It's a new system they have put in place this year. If you scroll to the top of this thread it will explain how to book. Once you have booked keep any confirmation emails you get and tickets are normally sent direct to you a week or two before the show. Then just make sure that your booking shows up by clicking my events page at the top of this forum. It's only those to shows that run that system. Any other shows the club attends are directly paid to the club. Any problems just shout.

Be good to meet you ben. It's my second year with the club attending shows. All the regulars are a great bunch and will make you feel welcome. True what Ian says, this show won't have the biggest turn out of members but will be a great start for you. The big one for the club is ford fair @ silverstone but tickets will go fast for that one. Look forward to meeting you at the pod and hopefully you will join us for more. I will have a chat with Ian when I see him at our 1st show in May, I'm sure we can arrange some refreshment facilities and maybe some shelter for the great British weather!!
