  1. I might have a change of circumstances by Monday so the cab may have to go which I'm not happy about but I hope it won't have to come to it. The cab needs work and is a mess I have pretty much given up with it now.
  2. Cab might be going.

  3. Water pipe bodge has been a success.

  4. The old bearing I took off is new and has been replaced with a new one doesn't stick as far as I can tell
  5. Damn on my own with this then lol, New clutch cable has been ordered if not then new clutch kit with higher strength pressure plate then if that don't work, scrap it
  6. Cool the second one with the shorter pipe looks about the same.
  7. Yeah to the heater matrix and idle control wotsit.
  8. Cool you got one that looks like mine Would be very much appreciated as at the moment I have made a super bodge out of it now with some plumbing, Tiger seal and jubilee clips I'll get a pic of it tomorrow it's awesome just waiting for it to cure and then pressure test it
  9. Stupid moldy old car Think my alternator has done this damage to my bottom water pipe Can't find a replacement only Samco ones So a more permanent bodge is needed now So that and the slipping clutch and other things just one thing after another as soon as I fix one another will pop up without fail.
  10. Added a poll I don't know I have seen a few fords with shocking tiger stripes but some that look decent with them
  11. Got a hole in my water hose had to bodge it back together with some super glue, vacuum hose, bin liner and electrical tape got the car 11 miles home without a refill!

  12. Must remember I have no rev limiter

  13. Right dunno where to start or if I can explain it properly but here goes as I am unable to figure it out When I put my new engine in I fitted a new standard clutch kit as I am not running much above standard power I assume but ever since then before ford fair the clutch slips all the time The flywheel is a new but old one that came with the engine, The cable is fine, the ratchet is fine, everything that controls and has anything to do with the clutch I have checked and I now need a new clutch plate as mine has been ruined by now The pedal is the odd thing as the release bearing is always touching the pressure plate which it shouldn't as far as I know and the biting point is right at the top of the pedal which isn't right also, That means any slight pressure on the pedal makes the clutch move causing more slipping, That's as best as I can describe it hope it makes sense as I have had enough of it makes me not want to drive it if I can be out accelerated by a moped
  14. There is a cosworth kit for the 5b as far as I know I'll have a dig around for some info, it is from 93-95 for the 5b isn't it?
  15. Telling me had mine out yesterday and put me in a bad mood all day And still didn't find the cause of the problem
  16. Yup for my cab fed up with the self adjusting one now need to eliminate the problem with the slipping
  17. Clutch, Release bearing, Pressure plate, clutch cable, Clutch pedal, Clutch ratchet, The gearbox or Bearing release arm, Could be any of those thing but can't find the cause of the slipping

  18. As above and I don't want to go to a breakers and get one myself had enough taking mine apart this weekend and ebay seems to have none
  19. Cabs a pile of **** and fed up with it.

  20. Getting really tired of the clutch problem and can't seem to solve it So fed up with it now It's the only mechanical thing wrong with it now and it's doing my nut in to a point where I almost sold it
