  1. Looks clean and shiny And white ones with a stripe down the side are the fastest
  2. Found something dunno why it is so hard to find something you are looking for that even Google fails at it lol, so hows this look Capacity: 62Ah Cold Cranking Performance (CCA): 510 £65
  3. Hmm, OK got square terminals at the mo, but was looking at getting a powerful battery as I am looking to throw a couple of amps in the motor once it starts, gotta replace a couple of earths to they look frazzled and old
  4. What batteries are people using and what is the cold cranking rating for the RS engine as I don't even know it , just looking around online and would like to order tonight Thanks, Allen
  5. Can't wait Stupid bloody car Will try out your suggestions guys, cheers if you don't hear from me I might have killed myself
  6. I don't know what else to change now to be honest its had new dizzy, arm, leads, plugs, metering unit and fuel pump I just want to drive it and its driving me insane not being able to find the root cause of the problem, but I will get there even if it takes months cars too good to bin
  7. Yeah two of my plugs were soaked and that mark is TDC but moved else where so its easier to see i think but the car did run a few weeks ago but didn't idle very well and the throttle cable got a bit stuck so replaced them and hasn't run since even changed metering units
  8. Right here is a pic of the cam pully looks to be ok And here is the mark which someone has made i presume for ease of seeing the mark
  9. I wish i knew mate, but it does have a timing mark that someone has made on the bottom pully so it could be running a non standard cam
  10. Yeah both look in the right place I'll get a picture up after i have had something to eat might make it easier for you to say yes or no to weather its right or not
  11. Right I went to check the timing on my engine as its been a pain in the rear and went to turn it over and it what i presume to be a backfire into the metering unit (plenty of smoke lol ). So I checked the cam with the dizzy arm and it looks to be where it should but was wondering if it could be out as i don't really want to jump out of my skin again brown trousers are not cool
  12. Missed this bit I got a few black screws with washers that came with the kit and had to make holes in the kit its the only way they are ever going to be held stupid idea to put them on Need to get a few more of the screws them to do the other side when its not wet again and I hope that they are secure enough when going along, whenever that will be seems like a eternity at the moment stupid work getting in the way (shouldn't slag them off to much i am keeping my car there for free )
  13. Fat fingeritis is the problem i suffer from it to now and then
  14. Yes we demand pics of said artifact
  15. I wouldn't mind some spot lights for it but they will happen in the future at some point I would imagine will be trying to get her running again this weekend wish i knew what has gone tits up
  16. Found em on Ebay been after a set since I got the car, also got some lockwood stainless sill protectors
  17. Had a go at fitting the mud flaps and think they will stay on I know that these are a bit marmite with people but I hate stone chips and plus they look awesome Only done that side then it started raining
  18. Could do would probably be safer I'll go see how thick I need em when I finish work can't wait to shut my eyes
  19. they have a C shaped clamp with a bolt and some self tappers I don't like the look of the clamps only one bolt and it just squeezes up against the kit and flap just doesn't seem secure and I really don't fancy putting self tappers into the kit if I can help it but it looks to be the only safe way. Then just need to worry about them hitting crap on the road as they are very low to the floor
  20. As title really Don't really want to muller my kit on the car but it's looking like the only option to keep em on safely Only got em so cos I like em lol Sod it wrong section supposed to be in bodywork i blame being in work and being tired.
  21. Well I got that all installed this weekend sounds lovely and clear, but the sod still wont fire up it tries but no cigar so timing light ordered and see if its out at all I will get the git running if it kills me
  22. Yeah CD's are so last century I don't own any CD's so needed something different and for £100 you can't go wrong can ya.
  23.
