  3. Well cab hasn't caught fire yet. I might be moving jobs soon and cab insurance is up difficult decision insure it and drive it or SORN it and get another motor till I find another job, Was thinking Focus ST.

  5. Erm..... little problem somewhere with a live wire I am sure touching something now and then. As the cab cut out the other day whilst driving it and could instantly smell burning wire but it stopped as quick as it started and was 5 secs from parking it up anyway took battery off and its sat there since as crap weather to work on it.

Took her out for the first time today running bloody lovely but two problems: 1: I think the rev counter is reading wrong as it is going up quite fast and just dont feel right according to the speed i am doing. 2: Steering column bush might be worn I think as the steering wheel feels loose. But apart from that it's good to drive it again loved every 5 mins of it.
  7. I'll get it for you lol. Cab is now alive once again just gotta put all the dash back in and get locking, windows and alarm back in and working.
  8. Started to get push start fitted so got rid of the ashtray. Now to wire it in and see if my problem has gone.

  10. And so it continues.... Took my anger out on the wing. And no the cab has no power on the ignition side so I bought this.

    Same here lol. And Focus RS's are a commoners car it's not like they are quick or have a good chassis or anything.
  13. Have only replaced the ignition relay so far I'll have a mess around tomorrow with em see if any are getting hot or melted. cheers for the diagram.
  14. Gauges are wired like this. one wire to negative one wire to Ignition one wire to + one wire to sidelight + one wire to Oil pressure sender All + are fused with 5amp inline fuses well they were. lol
  15. I haven't had the fuse box up yet wiring is a bit tight to lift it so will have to take all the rear loom out to get more access to it and check or take the dash out again.
  16. Still no luck can't find the problem had no luck checking with a meter. :/
  17. First thing I did was undo all my work with them And still have a problem can't figure it out.
  18. Fuel pump isn't priming either pink relay is ok no burnt marks, seems that all my relays are fine but just nothing working ignition switch is ok just checked it for burns and pits. So fed up my cab has a new dent and will need a new wing now.

So I fitted my oil pressure, Boost and voltage gauges and touch live to earth for a split second since then my flasher relay goes nuts on and off when hazards are on I have no lights and the ignition relay goes mental too, I have checked the fuses and only found one gone but should I change the ignition relay for another seeing as it goes mental I can still crank the car and start it but it will not run.
  20. Soo.... I have most of the electrics working now got all lights working no more flat battery troubles, Just need to do electric windows and central locking then fit the alarm back in. The real trouble is the horn connection to the steering wheel it feels like its not touching the contacts on the column and is a pain in the arse. And the fuel gauge which I have a solution to but requires the tank to drop to access the loom under the seat. Got rid of the little patch of rust where I stabbed my bonnet with a screwdriver. Will tax it 1st of April and sort out whatever needs to be finished when I can be arsed.
