Hi Peeps !!! :big_wave: Got a broken seat back on your Mk6 ??? Me too, I had to scratch my head and had a hard think how to fix it without Glue or Screws !!! :msg3: I came up with this !!! :wow: THE AMAZINGLY SIMPLE WAY TO FIX YOUR SEAT BACKS !!! (1) - On the Passenger back, Drill a 6mm hole in each of the 4 broken clips !!! (2) - Feed a Standard Cable tie through the hole thats in the vinal at the bottom right !!! (3) - Next feed another Cable Tie through the metal support rods as shown at the Top Right !!! (4) - Do the Same on the Left hand side !!! (5) - Feed both top Ties through both top clip holes on the seat back, don't compleatly tighten !!! (6) - Next, feed the bottom Cable Tie through the Lower Clip hole, tighten them all up !!! (7) - You will notice that one corner does not have a Cable Tie, I could not get one on, plus you need it open to get to the top ties !!! Its not the best way of doing it but its better than nothing and it looks tidy !!! Hope this helps !!! :icon_salut_gb: CHARLZY

Just to give you an idea Adele, its no the actual whole metal part of the Wishbone that fails, its the round rubbers that sit in them, replace them with upgraded better ones and they will last you longer !!!

Nope !!! You realy need one for a Mk5 as if memory serves the actual tail pipe points at a 45' angle, even if somone could modify it to fit the cost would not warrant it and it would be easyer to get one that fits !!!

Its not hard to do mate, just time consuming, be ideal to have the weather too, remove the rear lower bench, there are a couple of screws holding the card in down the side of the door apature, then it needs a good tug as there clipped in, always remove the winder first though, any probs let us all know and we will try and help !!!
