They look good mate !!! Spray them Grey or Black, you could paint them Blue but no doubt they will get the odd foot scuff so go with what ever is easyest to fix/clean up !!!

I used T-CUT Colour restorer on my old Mk5 and it came up a treat, it was that good that everyone was asking why I got rid of it when in fact it was a rust bucket lol !!!

Just buy JBL!, they are PA and concert speaker experts, I have had four set ups made with there amps, 6x9's, componets and subs, great sound, great quality and great prices !!!

Tried this colour for mine, going to do the alloys this colour too !!! Here is Version one !!! .........and here is the stripes continued on the bumpers, very tempted !!!

I was sure I replied to this, Crazy !!! Your pic looks great mate, I did the stripes on the one I did in a slightly off white too, it HAS to be done mate, might even do it to mine too but stuck for colours, possibly go for graphite to match the colour of my alloys when I get them refurbed !!!

The cross over looks well smart mate, only the keen eye would notice but at least the pipe work is tidy !!! Hope your hoses come soon mate so you can get this beast back on the road, KEEP THE UPDATES COMING !!!

Nah thay don't, they look Safe !!! There that good you don't notice !!! I recon some ST style white duel stripes along the bottom of the doors/rear quaters would set it off now !!! Gives you an idea, a bit basic but I love paintbrush lol !!!

Looks great on them RS7's mate, suite the Car down to the ground, sit nice in the arches too, looks nice and low too !!! Supprised no one else has commented on this fantastic bit of progress, been on stands for nearly 8 months !!! :wow: Come on son, nearly there !!!

They are long deleted items but its always worth a check as some FORD Spars Dept. might have them tucked away in a dark dust corner, your best bet is people breaking there Cabs on eBay and on here, on eBay do a serch for: 'escort cabriolet breaking' 'escort convertable breaking' 'escort cabriolet spares' 'escort convertable spares' or just 'escort cabriolet' or 'escort convertable' for best results and trawl through the listings !!!

As above mate, I took mine off the same way, used a paint stripper gun from a distance, helps doing it in the sun too, pulled them off slowly and used Methylated Spirit and Tar Remover, Petrol works well too but be carful as it can mark paint !!! They look fine without the trims but you can prob get them in Ford, go for Mk6 ones !!!
