  2. will do, hope the ss exhaust and aftermarket wheels dont make too much of a difference tho
  3. I havnt got the yellow connectors in my g or J reg cars just loom going from pump with green relays then goes to two relays under dash near other relays, then power lead straight to battery, one to ignition obviously and a few other wires Anyone know how to rewire this all up from scratch or can i shorten it all (Too long for my liking lol) and put the two other relay connector blocks in the boot by the others run a power lead straight to the battery and obv the hood switch etc. Im not bothered about being able to put the hood down whilst car is started as i would never operate it whilst moving anyways
  4. i hate working, unless its on the car of course lol

  5. Anyone know what was optional apart from the front splitter and rear over bumper skirt? were the one peice side skirts RS branded ? and is there a optional RS spoiler for the cabriolet ? also was the RS turbo bonnet classed as a extra due to the SE al blue having them? Just wondering as need to let my insurance know that i have optional extras fitted etc better to be safe than sorry in the event of a claim hopefully it will never come to that
  6. Wrexham Radiators 01978 351785 thing is tho they are in wrexham north wales they sell new ones and do recores even on motorbikes etc had a old 89 cr 250 done there once
  7. def buying a new headunit this week as for cost ill let my compulsive behaviour and credit card decide that lol still think its gonna be a alpine imprint headunit or a plain pioneer DEH P77MP they look plain and simple and not very appealing for theives but omg the sound quality is amazing from them
  8. Saying all this the rear seal isn't seated properly ffs and in the process of taking the new track control arm ball joint out of the hub I've split the seal grrrr gonna have to buy another new one in the morning at least its all done then apart from putting my new rear tie bars on the rear
  9. yes the passenger side one is perfect, ive got the hub back off and it all looks fine it might be alright when i put it back on hopefully
  10. hmmm should i do i straight swap for my yz 125 03 for a yzf 426 03 ankle snapper lol decisions decisions lol

  11. just replaced wheel bearings and yes they are seated properly, problem is the hub is still loose and i cant tighten the nut anymore! any ideas? the seals are seated properly too! or should i just put another packing washer in there?
  12. hmmm havnt seen that ill take a look tommorow morn thanks
  13. My 1991 J reg hasnt got the hood loom installed ive got one out of my spare car but were does it go to when it joins the main loom? straight to the fusebox/battery ?? saying all this ive got a broken resorvoir cover on my pump and no one want to sell the cover seperately i wonder ir arraldite that super glue stuff would be enough to bodge the covers screw points hmmm
  14. changed rubber seal on fuel pump, bolted tank back on and it fired after 4 turns luckily ive still got a spare pump for if it ever is the pump that fails
  15. Got to the bottom of why the efi pump wasnt working ie not eneough pressure it was a small rubber washer that was nackered and not sealing it, prob seen to many speed pumps etc http://i1185.photobucket.com/albums/z349/welshlad1978/DSCN2824_zps6f270aee.jpg
  16. think i might do that anyway methinks , just got it to want to start but not actually start - ive screwed regulator screw all the way in and it wants to start but only if ICV idle control valve is diconnected wish i had of kept the bodge job pump on it now grrrr
  17. Hi all i have a mk4 efi as some of you know, ive managed to get the pump working by jumping yellow relay in yellow holder but no the petrol is only just getting to the end of the pipe (that goes into injector rail) obviously the pressure is low but i dnt know why? any ideas??? could it be the pump knackered or the pressure regulator adjusted when someone bodged a external pump on it ??? dnt really want to drop the tank if i can help it
  18. id like to take that back lol the petrol must have been in the pipe and dripped out anyways the pump is working but not actually pumping anything out and i can hear dripping inside the tank when i put my ear on top of it (under rear seat) i bet i havnt got enuff petrol in there lmfao well thats what i hope it is anyways well untill tomoz it is unless ive got any work on
  19. Finally got to the bottom of it all the grey relay in the purple holder was knackered so when i took that out the fuel pump (When ignition was on) actually made the priming noise. but still i was getting no fuel so i tried bridging the 30 and 87 terminals on the yellow relay/holder (which i thought was the injection relay??) and hey presto i now have petrol coming from the original in tank fuel pump, just gonna fit battery now and then hopefully it will start
  20. only prob now is even tho the fuel pump is priming the system (well making the noise at least) no petrol is coming out
  21. got it on after two attempts, first attempt i kinked the pipe
  22. GRRRR! getting naggy now lol!

  23. got fuel filter on in place of were someone bodged a external fuel pump but prob ive got now is that it wont start grrrr. Fuel pump is priming and getting power when trying to start etc help!!!!!!!!!!
  24. Sussed it the Grey relay (it was on a purple holder) was melted so i swapped it for a identical one ( Grey with red F 68125 88AG 14512 AA) and the pump is making the priming noise woop woop! prob is the relay must be the wrong one or it wouldnt have melted any ideas if its ok to use or not ???
