no mate, just the clocks, them measure between plug bn/y wire and earth.

will have a look today,

by the way, fixed the battery light, check all the wiring around the radiator area, found loads of black tape, stripped it off, and sure enough, the last owner had just put a bit of tape to hold the blue wire together.

just the lights and the handbrake ones to sort out.

just wondering, when checking resistance, which setting should i use on the multi meter? i know its the horse shoe symbol, but its go 200k, 20m and two others.

good job, getting there.

as for the settings your not using the meter to measure resistance as such, you just want to know if the circuits open or closed, so use the lowest one. 20ohms probably on your meter. (horse shoe = ohm) I wouldnt expect more than that, although you can have a flick through the setting if you measure something other than open or closed.....as you move up 200, 2k, 200k whatever, they just move the decimal point.

remember when measuring resistance the small voltage flows from red lead to black lead, cas you have a diode in the handbrake circuit you must put the red one on the plug and black one to earth otherise you will never get to measure anything.

If its digital, usually a 1 on the left means open circuit.
