Escort Cabriolet Club
Hi Peeps !!! :big_wave: I went on eaby the other day to buy an amp wiring kit for my Rover, there are many to choose from, the cheap ones are, well, cheap, they only run small installs, the more powerfull ones are a bit on the pricey side for my taste, so I thought about buying the components I need seperatly, this way, I could save a few quid and get exactly what I want !!! I have an ALPINE head unit with one SUB pre-out and two standard pre-outs, I will only use the SUB and one other, I also need it to run a 1600w amp, so some nice heavy gauge cable was needed !!! I got the following bits: Premium Double Sheilded RCA leads, 5m for £6.99 !!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PREMIUM-PHONO-RCA-LE...oQQcmdZViewItem Heavy gauge twin amp cable, thats right, TWIN cable, red and black, it comes in 5m lengths which is a steal at £3.89 !!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...s_promot_widget Heavy duty in-line fuse holder for £2.99, can't complain !!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...hlink:middle:uk If you want to get a nice tidy install, try tidying your cables with these different colour cable ties for £1.50 !!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1 Add a bit of colour with this Neon cable for £0.99p !!! That right, 99p !!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...p;rd=1&rd=1 All you need now is a remote cable, normal 12v electrical cable does the trick !!! TOTAL COST: £16.38 !!! Hope this helps Guys and Gals !!! Later, Charlzy

Guest markeyboy
seems to be a pretty good price, those rca leads look pretty good for the price too,
Escort Cabriolet Club
You can buy the kit from a shop for £14.99 but what rating does it have ? The parts I have listed are for a high powerd system of up to 3000 watts ! The RCA leads are top dollar Markey, well worth it, and at 5m long theres pleanty to snake round the car !!!
