Guest POULTRY
before i start just like to add the fact this is about my 6th ICE install and so far have never had any problems, and not just the basic amp and speaker. This is my last hope of help , its just a basic amp and set of 6x9`s , problem is with a crackling from the speakers, now i`ve added better grounding from the battery to car and amp to car , all cables are wired away from each other ,bought new RCA cable did`nt work, i plug my mp3 player into the amp via a diffrent cable and got no crackiling whatsoever , so it can`t be the speaker/amp , obviously the RCA is cable is close the the antenna cable in the back of the headunti, but this has never been an issue before only other thing i can think of is that the electric aerial is causing interferance, anybody please HELP peace poultry
Guest bloopeta
are you sure the RCA lead isnt running near any power wires?? you can buy a supressor from halfords etc which may eliminate the noise.
Guest POULTRY
well i un wired the rca cables last night so they came straight out of the headunit outside of the car then back into the boot , and still i had the noise, i`m gunna take the headunit back cose as far as i can see it has to be the headunit , as system works fine with mp3 player, or could i be drastically wrong ?????
