Lobsterboy Posted April 1 Share Posted April 1 My names Terry and I have owned a MKVI 1.8 Ghia Cabriolet for around 6 years now and it goes everywhere with me and my partner Jule, even camping trips to Dorset. Its not my first, I had a MkV facelift fitted with 2.0litre Zetec and before that and early Mk5 with a 1.6 CVH. And as an Ex- Ford Dealer salesman I sold loads of them and ran a white XR3i as a demo car for almost a year. I have just, with help, swapped out the 1.8 motor for a 2.0 in my current car which I am happy to share with anyone one here about the experience, its running but I do need help with a couple of issues which hopefully some of you guys can answer, and will post in the tech sections.
