Lost the readout from the MoT but I recall the tester mentioning how low it was! (then again, the same guy was also adamant that "fuel injected cars can't be adjusted without a laptop" so...) jinks Posted July 19, 2016 Author Share Posted July 19, 2016 got to take it to mates garage to put on a good c02 tester I only got a little guson gas tester witch is not to bad I done it last time set it at 2% and said that's ok so will let you know Saturday chap . I screwed out the air mixer x3 outer turns and set the co2 pot to to 230% ish. I had a problem when giving it a bit lol the revs would drop like she was going to cut out so made some adjustments runs good no smell of unburnt fuel plus I got a superchip on it loll evry litte helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Paul Grainger Posted July 20, 2016 Share Posted July 20, 2016 (edited) Ok so CO2 is carbon dioxide which is not what you are checking for. The check is for CO which is carbon monoxide; this should be set to 1%. As the aim is to use most of the oxygen in the combustion process, this should be low, maybe about 0.5% this will have the effect of increasing the CO2 content which should technically be as high as possible. a realistic reading for this would be about 13.5%.
