Guest no1birdman Posted February 20, 2016 Share Posted February 20, 2016 after a engine still to put in mk4 cab,still not got one to replace 1.6 diesel i put in 20years ago.been off road now about 3 years, any ideas what easy engine to fit,not going back on the road with it for a bit so any engine will do, petrol or diesel but prefer now a easy little petrol engine. Guest jeremy Posted February 20, 2016 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Engine changes from diesel to petrol are a bit problematic you would be wise to find a doner car 1.4 or 1.6 or 1.6 Mfi ( steer clear of the Efi a lot more work) you will need to change wiring loom , tank, fuel lines, exhaust etc .....
