Guest ROJ Posted December 31, 2015 Share Posted December 31, 2015 Morning chaps I've been quiet for a while, and my cars have been sadly neglected due to the inconvenience of work! My wife's Mk6 Ghia has just taken us to Scotland and back for Christmas - and proven that it's still a gutsy little car. Since we've had it, it's been in three minor prangs, so has replacement bumpers, a new off side wing and driver's door. I've also swapped the interior for leather, the wheels to GT style and the exhaust for a roarty little SS job. But more needs to be done. I've put in a switch and wiring loom for a heated windscreen - and just need to have a screen fitted (anyone else had this done?) The central locking system has gone haywire - and I'm looking at that now. A few spots of rust need attention on the ridge behind the boot where the roof.folds in. I'm also having the paintwork generally tarted up. I'd also like to upgrade the air-filter, plugs and cables.
