Calypso Cab Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 Hi would anyone know of a motor factors who may be able to supply me with a nearside rear brake plate for a Mk 6 Escort Cabriolet ? I got the new Offside from Fords who have just informed me they no longer Manufacture the Nearside, I need a new one as I am fully restoring the Vehicle, and wish to use as many new parts as is possible, as it makes it easier for me to change bits straight over instead of taking the old parts off, and cleaning them up, and removing rust and such as I am doing the work on a drive, and have no Garage in which to do any repair work. the Ford Part No is 1005987. The only ones I can find on Ebay are 203mm, mine is a 181mm, and as I already have the offside would now need to match up with another 181mm instead of the extra cost of finding the two 203mm, as I have already bought new drums, and shoes. any help, or leads/links would be much appreciated Thanks Calypso Cab Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
