Guest ANDYA
Got a boot spoiler for my MK4 off ebay. It's in good nick and will just need sprayed to match my car. Any advice on fitting? Like, where do I drill the holes, will I need to drill through the boot frame as well, or will the holes line up? Would I be better to just stick the spoiler on and if so whats the best adhesive? Any advice would be welcome, I don't want to make a mess of it. Ta, Andy
Skittles80
On our mk 5 we screwed it threw the edge of the boot lid and bonded it on with a sealing adhesive sorry not sure how it works on a mk4 but I would measure a good few times and always screw it don't just stick it on in this day and age it will soon be gone it's worth all the effort though I do love the look of a spoiler good luck
Guest ANDYA
Thanks for the reply Skittles 80. I've seen lots of MK 4s in here with spoilers. You're right to say measure three times and drill once, like my old woodwork teacher Hopefully someone will be able to tell me how they fitted theirs.
