Guest ferrel Posted August 15, 2014 Share Posted August 15, 2014 Hi all. I have just purchased a mk5 xr3i I have always wanted one but never looked to buy. This one fell in my lap for 300 notes so I brought it . Its needs a new top a very good polish and a couple of rust spots to sort as well as loads of other little bits. So I have this car and absolutly no clue about cars or electrics or restoration so im looking for info. Im in no rush to get it finished just want to get it right befor it hits the road. Anyway the question is the back elec windows, airel and radio do not work. All fuses are fine is there anything obvious I can check befor I start testing the wiring. Vincygav Posted August 16, 2014 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Check the switch is not on disabling the rear electric windows. It is the black button with a red symbol (rectangle with lightening symbol). As for the radio, not working, could be the supply of power to it. The aerial would only move up once the radio is on.
